What can I use Medisoothe products for?

Medisoothe products are formulated to provide quick and long-lasting soothing relief for dry, itchy and irritated skin. They are moisturising, gentle yet effective, and do not contain any steroids. 

Skin conditions you can use Medisoothe for include: dry or normal skin, dermatitis, psoriasis, rashes (including heat rash), seborrhoea, blemishes/acne, and insect bites. 

It can also be used as a daily lotion to help maintain skin’s condition.  

I am suffering from eczema. Can I use Medisoothe on my skin?

Eczema-prone skin can become compromised due to dryness and scratching, resulting in cracked skin and/or open wounds. 

Please use Medisoothe Plus Sensitive that is specifically formulated for sensitive skin. 

Certain products of the Medisoothe range contain magnesium salt, application on broken or thinned skin may cause a stinging sensation. 

It is recommended to test on a small area of skin first. Medisoothe cream (Original) and Medisoothe Plus Sensitive are suitable for skin that is more sensitive and affected by eczema.

Can I use Medisoothe products on my face?

Yes, you can. Medisoothe products are formulated for both face and body.

How often should I use Medisoothe?

It is recommended to use at least twice a day, and whenever the area of skin is washed to seal in the moisture (e.g. after a shower, or washing hands). You can also use whenever itch and/or irritation occurs.

What makes Medisoothe different from other brands of itch relief products?

Medisoothe contains a unique combination of natural herbal extracts and micronutrient elements to provide long-lasting soothing relief quickly and effectively. Other brands of itch relief products mostly rely on counterirritants to distract from the itch.

What are counterirritants and why doesn’t AEIRCREME use them? 

Counterirritants are agents that produce a superficial irritation/inflammation to distract from underlying pain or discomfort. 

Counterirritants can cause redness, dryness, and irritate the skin, hence they are not recommended at high concentrations or for frequent usage.

Examples of counterirritants include menthol, camphor, and capsaicin. These ingredients are commonly found in muscle pain products, topical cough remedies and some skincare products. 

Medisoothe products do not rely on counterirritants to stop skin from itching. Rather, we use a unique combination of precious herbs and nutrients to naturally relieve inflammation and provide relief. 

Are there any steroids?

No, there are no steroids in our products. 

Is it hypoallergenic/ suitable for sensitive skin?

Medisoothe products are free from controversial, irritating ingredients. We want to ensure that your skin receives only the best. 

All our products are free from parabens, alcohol, phthalates, triclosan, steroids, EDTA, formaldehyde, PEGs, sulfates, artificial fragrances, colorants. 

To ensure that the product is suitable for you, please perform a simple patch test prior to using. 

How to perform a patch test:
Start the patch test on an inconspicuous area, such as inside your elbow, behind your knee, or under your jaw.
Wait for 24 hours. If there is no reaction observed on the skin, the product is probably safe for you to use. 

Can Medisoothe cure atopic dermatitis/ eczema?

Medisoothe is not a therapeutic product, nor does it contain any drug or steroid. Hence, it cannot cure any medical condition. 

However, consistent use of Medisoothe can improve the skin’s condition, soothe itch and irritation, and break the itch-scratch cycle. 

Are your products tested on animals?

No, our products are never tested on animals.
